Alejandro Badanian, architect (Montevideo, 1996), DEA in Acoustical Engineering (Technical University of Madrid, Spain, 2008) and DESS in Architectural and Urbanistic Acoustics (University Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris VI, France, 1997)
Noise and Vibration consultant with over 25 years of experience in a variety of situations including environmental acoustics and architectural acoustics. He has worked as a Senior Consultant in several countries, as Argentina, Chile, France, Paraguay and Uruguay. In 2005, he leads the local group that made the first noise map in Buenos Aires City, Argentina, by using computer aided method. Additionally, he worked in the regulation of the Noise Control Act of that city (2006-2007). In 2007, he founded ARQUISONIC, a focused, specialist company offering a range of consultancy services covering Architectural, Environmental and Building Acoustics throughout Argentina and Uruguay.
Important national and international companies like Nestle, Coca Cola, FV, Unilever, Club Atletico River Plate, Total Gas, Gas Andes, Helicenter or AUSA are among their clients.
He currently serves as professor in Architectural Acoustics in the School of Architecture, ORT University in Montevideo.
